The Strategy Workshop is designed to assist management to quickly implement change by addressing people, process and performance challenges through a comprehensive process. Utilizing a framework I have developed over the last 25+ years, the workshop process guides members of the organization (management and key staff) to reach the following outcomes:
- Understand the mission, vision, current initiatives and goals of the organization
- Gain a collective agreement of the issues facing the organization and the business
- Categorize and prioritize the issues
- Understand the culture and political climate
- Understand the people issues
- Identify root causes of the current problems
- Develop a roadmap (with accountability) to resolve the issues
- Gain buy-in and commitment across all affected areas of the organization
For New Businesses
The Strategy Workshop for new businesses consists of the following:
- Gain an understanding of the business, competition, current operations, staffing, products, services, sales/marketing efforts and financial status, etc.
- Discuss mission, vision, current initiatives and goals
- Brainstorm current issues and challenges
- Categorize and prioritize issues
